Improve Engineering Efficiency with Automatic Tag and PLC Control Strategy

With the new Auto-Build feature you can automate your PLC programming to make it easier for all engineers. The program reads the structure of a PLC, then automatically builds an application server based on the data set. This can result in drastically shortened development time and better integration between System Platform and PLCs.

Auto-Build is currently supported for Rockwell Allen-Bradley Logix controllers, as well as the Siemens S7-1200 and S7-1500 family of controllers.

OPC UA & MQTT Support

Device Integration Gateway is a device that connects to different devices and data sources. It supports data transfer between protocols, and also serves as an OPC UA client. Device Integration Gateway now also supports message queuing telemetry transport (MQTT) protocol, making device configuration, integration, and interoperability easier than ever.

Support for IIoT Connectivity Applications

To help make it easier to use IIoT devices, we’ve introduced free 32-tag tiny application support. This allows for easy integration of edge applications with 32 or fewer tags and connects you to you System Platform account or online.

Reduced Application Costs and Increased Throughput

Communication Drivers help make the application architecture more scalable by combining multiple instances of I/O into a single driver. This helps maintain parallel processing and can also consolidate scattered architectures. This increases overall throughput or improves performance per driver and per node. A single-node license now covers as many servers as you want in a single node.

Seamless Version Upgrades Without Communication Disruptions

Communication Drivers provide single node side-by-side upgrade capability. This unique capability lets you upgrade to newer versions of your current drivers without disrupting continued operation of the legacy drivers.

Unlimited Scalability with Multi-Instance Architecture

You can now run the same driver on different instances at the same time. This is perfect for when you need to scale up your compute resources without upfront costs, or if you have highly variable traffic patterns. This unique feature will allow unlimited driver instances, restricted only by computer hardware specifications.
